My stay at the Convento de Cristo was a mix of wonderful views and peaceful location, marred slightly by disruptive noises during the night. Waking up to sights of the river, park, and castle each day was truly special, although the intermittent clunking and motor sounds in the room were unexpected.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms felt more like a suite, with a very comfortable bed and an excellent view of the Castle. They were spacious, comfortable, and romantic, adding to the charm of being close to the Templar castle on top of the hill. The location couldn't be better, within walking distance of the 'centro histórico' and with top-notch staff. I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were spacious and had all the facilities I needed, including a balcony with a fabulous view looking towards the castle and convent. The little balconies were perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Although the decor felt a bit outdated, the big comfy bed and lovely bathroom with bathrobes and slippers provided a luxurious touch. The only downside was that the AC was a little noisy.
